Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness class that's moving millions of people towards their fitness goals.
Zumba was created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez, and since the 1990s it's grown to become hugely popular. In 2015 Alberto estimated that 14 million people were attending Zumba classes every week!
Zumba incorporates moves from hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo resulting in a fun and energetic workout. A single class a can burn between 500-1,000 calories depending on how much energy you put into it!
