What to Wear and Bring
We ask that you bring a pair of short shorts and a short sleeve top or vest. Layers may be worn over these, particularly for the warm up and cool down sections of your class. The more skin you are comfortable exposing, the more grip you will have on the pole and the more moves you can try during your workout.
It is also a good idea to wear a good supportive bra, such as a sports bra and if you are prone to cold feet bring along a pair of ankle socks. We find cold feet are sore when they grip the pole.
You will be asked to remove your jewellery before your Pole Fitness session, in particular rings and bracelets. This is to prevent damage to the poles that may scratch you or other users. We have free lockers for the storage of valuable items.
Creams and Oils
Please avoid the use of body and hand creams or oils for at least 4 hours before your session. If your body lotion is particularly long-lasting it may be best to omit it altogether on pole days. Residual creams prevent grip on the pole, making the session tricky both for you and other participants.
